Art about Art - Looking Forward to Looking Back 2026

Just what is it that makes today’s art so different, so appealing? Responding to the emergent online visual art platforms, this work investigates making art about making art. Still and moving collages are made from found imagery and original footage using images of art to circle back on themselves, art as symbol for art. Contrasting the old and the new, the resulting images themselves become the texts we use and read.
